New fluorescence method for monitoring of GPCR

In 2011, the Molecular Pharmacology research team developed a new method to detect GPCR aggregation in intact cells by fluorescence resonance energy transfer, FRET.
The method relies on a cleavable signal peptide, which enhances translocation of fluorescent protein-labelled membrane proteins to the cell surface.
In 2014, the article was recognized as number 1 of top 20 articles in the research domain according to BioMedLib.
